Wumbo is SEDS-RD’s competition rocket for IREC 2025.
We’re targeting an apogee of 10,000 ft, in the 10k COTS category and intend to deploy multiple SRAD electronics system through this flight.
- Ascent Flight computer for recovery deployment, tracking and live telemetry.
- Data Acquisition system for onboard inertial datalogging.
- Digital onboard video cameras for high resolution live streaming.
- SRAD antenna systems for transmission of live video, telemetry and tracking.
- Deployable 3U payload made in collaboration with IPL.
