About the IPL Cubesat Payload

The IPL Payload is be a collaboration between SEDSRD and the Interplanetary lab. 3U in size, the goal is to create an operating payload for the Spaceport America Cup rocket. The Interplanetary Lab is equipped with the technical knowledge and resources to create a one of a kind payload that will successfully operate with the Wumbo Rocket.

IPL has been working and developing space quality cubesats for years, and collaborating with SEDSRD will be another way to showcase the lab’s expertise on mechanical and software design.

Project Goals

Create a strong working relationship between campus organizations (SEDS) and IPL
Onboard more volunteers onto projects through IPL
Contribute to the success of ASU at Spaceport America Cup through participating in the Space Dynamics Lab Payload Challenge.
