About RF Research & Antennas

This project will supplement majority of our other electronics projects. The intention is to design, build and test antennas for various applications such as live video streaming, GPS position tracking and live telemetry, across various frequencies with each application requiring specific space constraints and null point positioning.

Learning Objectives

RF, signal directionality, gain and attenuation.
Transmit power, S_11 factor, reflection and efficiency.
Manufacturing antennas by soldering wires or CNC machining parts.
Antenna testing process for range, RSSI, directionality and null points.
