About ASCENT

ASCENT is SEDS-RD’s SRAD (Student Researched and Developed) avionics package.

Commercial alternatives (separate trackers and altimeters) cost a total of $340. ASCENT is targeted to cost only $120 for a tracker and altimeter all in one package.

By slashing costs so dramatically, we reduce the financial risk of encouraging students to soar higher and faster.
